We clean the dirt off of your Keys, in-between the keys and the external housing with a soft cloth. (This does not include fixing butterfly keyboard issues)
We give your screen a basic cleaning (Some of the screens may have "Staingate" or keyboard/trackpad impressions. This kind of damage may be permanent and takes a different type of polishing)
We open the bottom case and use compressed air to blow away any loose dust collected around the exposed motherboard, components and batterie.
We clean the bottom metal cover by wiping it down from dust that has built up over the years.
We may find surprises that call out attention during any cleaning and will make recommendations based on our finding.
We preform everything in the basic cleaning - Plus the following
Once we open the bottom case, we unscrew all screws from the logic board, fan, and other removable parts internally.
We take out the mother board, gentle brush the dust off and use compressed air to blast away the stubborn dust that has embedded its self in-between the components.
We disassemble and then brush and blow the dust away from the clogged fans.
At this time, we also clean the heat-sinks to make sure air can pass through them correctly.
We will take out the speakers on applicable models and clean them, brushing and blowing and dust off.
We clean all the ports thoroughly.
It is then necessary to put all the parts back inside the MacBook and close the system.
We finalize the repair by running the system through a QC test to make sure everything is working how it should be.
If we find liquid damage in the system, we will not preform this cleaning. We have found that the existing liquid damage may be keeping the system alive, and by cleaning it, the system may not turn on again.
